I now have to kickstart another game and it's Tox's fault. Damn you, damn you I say. :)

    Great review as always.

The mechanics seem cool, but the art makes me hesitate. I guess the Munchkin art grew on me, so there's always hope. Using card suits for the banners kind of takes me out of it thematically though.

Maybe I'll play the Vassal module and see how it goes.

I'll give you that Gambit, there could have been unique symbols used on the cards and banners, but I think for independent developers, things like that can be overlooked. Now if this was their 10th game, I may be questioning it a bit :) The mechanics are quite solid and I was pleasantly surprised. Artwork is hit or miss, some like it, some are "meh" about it. I'm ok with it personally. Thanks for watching!

@Gambit, Thanks for the feedback! We actually have been in the process of updating the art including thematic banner & card suits. You can view the updated pieces on our kickstarter page: bit.ly/arsvictor. We will be updating the maptiles next!

@Tox thank you for the in depth review! I can't get tired of watching it!
